I have long been a fan of this technology, dealing with clients at senior level as we do – mainly in strategic sessions where, as you say, body language, subtleties and human senses are critical to overcoming the barriers of language and semantics in group work. Our work also highly visual demands the media to be capable of this facet.
Well done for focusing in the immersion and experiential side and we hope to forcing some of these techniques through our work where the business leaders cannot, nor perhaps should not travel to engage in still critical experiences. Many thanks for sharing. John
Hi there, I’m Marc Trachtenberg, CEO and co-founder of the company that installed the first telepresence solution for business use. Before you even think it – NOOOOO Cisco did NOT start the telepresence industry. A company called Teliris did and I’m here to talk about all the cool technology innovations for telepresence out there that you may not know about, the future of this cutting-edge emerging industry and any other random thoughts I have on the human communication dynamic within the realm of technology. And yes, I have many feisty, arguably confrontational and sometimes downright in-your-face opinions, (but also quite ingenious if I say so myself!) so click on my vlog entries and hold on for the ride!
